A man who won custody of his two children after his marriage collapsed due to infidelity is now regretting the decision as the realities of single parenting continue to weigh heavily on him.
Custody battle turns difficult
The man, whose identity was not disclosed, reportedly cheated on his wife, leading her to file for divorce after years of marriage.
Following advice from his mother, he pursued full custody of their children and succeeded in court.
However, months later, he is said to be struggling emotionally, financially, and physically while caring for the children alone.
His ex-wife reportedly visits the children once weekly, covers their school fees, and occasionally takes them out, but has refused his request to contribute more financially despite earning a higher income.
According to his sis who shared his story, her brother believed winning custody would prove he was the more responsible parent.

However, the woman he cheated with has since left him for another man believed to be wealthier, leaving him without support at home.
“He thought getting custody was a victory, but now he says he feels overwhelmed and exhausted every day. Now he says younger women avoid him because he already has children, yet he also refuses to date single mothers,” she revealed.
Cases involving custody battles after divorce have become increasingly common in recent years, especially where infidelity and financial disagreements are involved.
